I selfishly don't want to tell the world about this great apartment because I want it to be available the next time we want to visit NY again! With that being said the apartment was better than the description and even the pictures! The pictures were true to how the apartment looks but the attention to detail really shows how much great hospitality Jackie and Ana have! From the moment we arrived Ana greeted us with a smile and helped us settle in with great tips on places to eat/visit. There was a treat for us in the fridge (a plate with cheese, crackers and fruit) which was perfect because we were starving! The kitchen has every tool imaginable and then some! There are spices and some dry ingredients like oatmeal and coffee to use also. Everything was very clean! No carpet and the tile floors were heated which is a nice touch. The apartment is within a very short walk to a some local eats, sunset park and the subway. We highly recommend staying here! Can't wait to go back!!

Our lovely and cozy vacation home in Brooklyn!

My husband and I spent a week of vacation in the New York area and stayed in this wonderful apartment in Brooklyn. The beautiful pictures show it exactly as well kept and clean as it is in real life. We loved the space! The private garden was an excellent and completely private area for our morning coffee time. The subway station is a short walk to the next block. Travelling around New York was so convenient from this Brooklyn location. When we come back to NY we will definitely stay here again!! We come from a small town in southern Manitoba, Canada but had no trouble adjusting to this "small town" neighbourhood in Brooklyn. Our hosts were fabulous! Our visits with them were so pleasant and fun! We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and comfortable "home away from home". I miss it already!

The apartment is very close to the subway to get anywhere in Brooklyn or Manhattan. It is very clean, spacious and super comfortable. The weather was great so we were able to enjoy some wine in the beautiful garden. The area is quiet and private. There is even a washer and dryer which is a big plus. Jacqueline was such a gracious host and wanted to make sure we had all we needed. This was the best experience so far. Thanks Jacqueline!

We felt right at home with a nice kitchen, washer and dryer, comfortable furniture and bed, all very clean and well-maintained. Also very close to the subway station with easy access to about anywhere in New York City, even Coney Island. I'm already booking a stay for next year. We also enjoyed meeting Jacqueline and Ana.

beautiful place to stay at. very spacious, has a TV and cable, washer and dryer. and there is a beautiful garden out back. there is a kitchen stocked with appliances and dishes and even some spices and oatmeal and random food. jackie is really amazing, my husband and I were on our honeymoon and she had cake and a bottle of wine waiting for us. she was really knowledgeable about where to go and what to see and very helpful with any questions we had. the subway is on the next block and takes 15 minutes to get to Manhattan! this place is worth it! it's in a great location, it's quiet and the neighborhood is great. way better then a hotel and you get a lot more for your money here. We plan on coming back to New York and this is where I will stay every time! thank you so much jackie , you're amazing and you made our stay in New York so much better!!!!

US Open - Feels Like Home

My husband and I had plans to attend the US Open this year and wanted to stay somewhere very comfortable. Somewhere that felt like home. Upon selecting this location, I reached out to Jackie and she was more than happy to assist me with any questions. She greeted us when we arrived and showed us all the ins and outs of the unit. This place is truly a lovely spot. Great location. We have plans on staying again when we come back to NYC. To top it off Jackie is one of the sweetest person we met in NYC.

Had a wonderful, relaxed, worry free stay. Incredibly friendly hosts, absolutely perfect flat - very clean, very well appointed. Easy to come and go, cook or just relax in my own space. The garden out back was a wonderful extra. The street is the nicest in the whole suburb, and really easy getting to the train. Very easy direct access to Manhattan AND airport line connections. Had a very happy stay. Thank you :-)

Absolutely loved staying here, it was the perfect place to stay, not too crowded and loud like in the city, a nice place to just relax and rest and be in a slower paced place after a long day of moving around and visiting NYC. Great location, since it was super close to the Subway station (2-3 blocks away) and not too far away from a grocery store, which was great. Would really recommend anyone who's looking into staying near New York for a bit to check this place out! We didn't really hang out at any of the local places, but we did go out to eat in Little Italy, Time Square, and Chelsea market (which I would recommend checking out if you've never been). We loved checking out the high line, an old abandoned railroad track on the West Side of NYC, that they turned into a park and walkway that overlooks the water and city. And if you're staying here on the weekend I would recommend checking out smorgasburg, a foodies dream come true.

My best friend and I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely apartment for 4 nights. It was spacious, clean, and above all comfortable. Everything we could have wanted or needed was accounted for. The kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need to make a quick snack or an elaborate meal. The couch and bed were very comfy. There is a full washer & dryer inside the apartment. The bathroom is big enough for two women to apply make-up & get ready. Not always the case in NY! It's conveniently located near the subway with trains directly into Manhattan. The neighborhood is safe and we had no issues walking to and from the train. There were a couple of nights where we emerged from the subway past midnight, and everything was peachy. Not to mention the fact that Jackie & Ana are two of the warmest, kindest people you could ever hope to meet. They made sure we were comfortable and offered advice on which trains to take and where to dine nearby. They truly take the time to make sure their guests are happy and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

A very comfortable, secure studio apartment with great kitchen and dining area, relaxing garden, bathroom, laundry, air-con and fast Wi-Fi, in a friendly street only minutes from 36th Street subway and quick connection to Manhattan. The owners couldn't be nicer or do enough to make us comfortable and the groovy Green Fig Café around the corner on 37 Street serves the best coffee and bakery in NY. Lots of other food choices around all corners and nearby nice park with a view of NY harbor. Half-tix for Broadway shows also available close by at Metro Tech and Park Slope bars and restaurants are a bus ride away

We stayed here for 13 nights and it far exceeded our expectations. The welcome with the fruit was truely heartwarming. The studio was very clean and well-maintained. The garden looked beautiful and we enjoyed it a lot. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. The property was very close to the subway station so it was easy to get around. We feel we made some new friends and we are looking to staying here again sometime next year.

Great apartment with very accommodating hosts. It is only a 5 minute walk to the subway station making it very easy to travel into Manhattan and JFK. There is a lovely urban garden for your outdoor pleasure. Make this your first choice when visiting the Big Apple!

Now that we are familiar with the area , her place feels like home and getting around Brooklyn and to the subway is a breeze. My husband and I just returned from a weeklong vacation in New York. This was his surprise gift for his 50th birthday. He is originally from Brooklyn, so I wanted an authentic experience for him. This was also the first time I had ever used VRBO...so I was a little nervous. When we arrived, we were greeted by Anna. She was so gracious and so much fun to talk to! She made us feel right at home. We immediatly felt comfortable in the apartment. It was evident that they thought of every detail. Everything was clean and all applicances in working order. The decor was beautiful and a perfect spot for a special occasion. We also appreciated that the subway was so close by! We only traveled by subway or bus...living like the locals do! After meeting with Jacqueline, we were impressed by her energy and enthusiasm. She too was wonderful to talk to and shared helpful ideas for our trip! We had so much fun that we are already talking about when we can go back!! I would highly recommend staying here for an amazing New York experience! thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to NYC, by staying in this Brooklyn gem! bed and couch comfortable and pictures exactly represent the apt. Also enjoyed sitting out in the back garden area after long days of sight-seeing. Everything was clean and really appreciated the tips from Jackie and Anna, as well as the welcome fruit and cheese tray. VERY convenient to subway and 15 min trip into Manhattan. Recommend if not subway savvy, to carefully look over the maps and develop understanding of express vs local trains. We got sidetracked a couple times not realizing this difference. Key Foods just 1/4 mile away very convenient for simple groceries, which were easy to prepare in the well appointed kitchen. Highly recommend exploring Brooklyn. Sunset park 1/4 mile away with lovely view of sunset, Manhattan and lady Liberty. Check out Brooklyn promenade for amazing Manhattan views, as well as eating at Grimaldi's pizza and the ice cream shop just down from there. We also enjoyed the Brooklyn Botanical gardens, which is free on Tuesday, and Prospect Park. Check out Greenwood Cemetery for peaceful walking and viewing and be sure to pick up bagels and sweets from Baked in Brooklyn across the street. Coney Island is also a fun choice to walk the boardwalk, enjoy a Nathans hot dog and explore the Atlantic coast. This choice for a NYC stay is convenient to Manhattan, yet opens your eyes to the sights and sounds of Brooklyn and other areas of NYC

I had the most amazing experience staying here. Jackie was just wonderful she greeted us graciously (we had missed our flight and got there a little late) she gave us a tour of the place explained in detail where everything was and the best part was a surprise little cake for my birthday was waiting for me in the fridge with a lovely card. I couldn't have asked for more. She was wonderful and the place was super clean and comfortable. The subway was about 1 block away and everything was conveniently located. This property was beautiful, clean, safe, and comfortable! We were two women with two teenage girls and had no trouble traveling back and forth to Manhattan for shopping and shows. Subway stop is just around the corner about a three minute walk. Owners live upstairs and are friendly and helpful- they left a welcome snack and even offered to pick us up in Manhattan if we ever had an emergency. In a nutshell, we loved our stay!

Everything about our stay here was special. Jacqueline arranged for flowers, decorations and a anniversary cake to be be setup before my wife and I arrived. It was a wonderful surprise for my wife. The apartment is beautiful and very comfortable. The kitchen is filled with all kinds of pans and utensils and dishes. The bed and couch are very comfortable. And the Internet speed is a blazing fast 50 Mbps. I highly recommend this apartment.

This is a wonderful place to stay! Everything is as pictured and it is just a short walk to the subway which is one block away and several places to eat a quick meal also within walking distance. You can quickly and easily get anywhere you want to go. Jacqueline and Ana were absolutely wonderful and really made us feel at home! This was my first experience with homeaway and they definitely made me want to continue using this site for future vacations. A lovely apartment

The garden studio is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is very well equipped. We loved our private garden. Nice to come back from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan and chill out in the garden. The subway station is close by and the 2 express lines whisked us to Manhattan very quickly. Brooklyn is interesting too and we enjoyed spending time there. Jacqueline is a charming and knowledgeable host. We would like to come back.

Home Away From Home!

We were so delighted upon arrival to see that the property and location were exactly what we were looking for. We were warmly welcomed and all of our Brooklyn/NYC questions answered! We felt that every detail had been thoughtfully looked after right down to umbrellas outside the door and water in the fridge. The apartment provides a lot of space and is very restful. The neighborhood was lovely and we felt at home! The nearby subway station has an express train which made heading into Manhattan quick & easy. We will definitely stay here again! We've travelled to NYC at other times and this is by far our favorite stay with all the comforts of home! We found Jacqueline & Anna to be so warm and helpful and even arranged our transportation to the airport on our last day! They went above and beyond!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!!

Our New York Family Vacation

Wow what a vacation! When I found this rental as I was searching for a place to stay in NY I was impressed with the reviews. Therefore I called the host Jacqueline to inquire about staying. After talking with her I knew we had found the perfect place. Jacqueline greeted us upon our arrival with her knowledge of things to do and places to eat and a beautiful fruit platter. The subway was a block and a half away. She was always a phone call away with any need that we might have and that was very reassuring for my family and myself being our first time to NYC. I would advise all who are planning a trip to NYC to stay at this clean, spacious and safe place in Brooklyn. We want to thank Jacqueline and her family for all they did for us, we now have new family and will definitely be returning in the future.

Great place to stay

Where do I begin? Our stay at Jacqueline's was amazing. The apartment was clean at our arrival, is well equipped, suits easily 4 persons and is well located. Jacqueline supplies a good amount of starter supplies and linens and towels. Not only was her apartment great, so was the neighborhood. This place is exactly like the pictures! Jacqueline and her family were very nice and easy to get along with, and she accommodated our every need. Beautiful patio to sit and relax after a long day. There were many stores within walking distance to pick up just about whatever you would need. The subway was about a 5-10min walk. Always felt very safe.....would definitely stay here again when in New York City. I would recommend this property to my family and friends. Spacious and Comfortable

I can't think of anything this apartment is missing but Doug would have liked a reading lamp. It is so spacious and modern, we looked forward to returning after a long day in the city. It offers a large bathroom which you don't always find with Apt. rentals. Very clean and comfortable! Jacqueline was great with her accommodations and providing us with helpful information on how to get around. We chose to use the subway instead of renting a car which worked out perfectly.

Spacious and Comfortable

Jacqueline was a very gracious host. She welcomed us, provided us with a welcoming treat and gave us advice on restaurants and shopping. The garden area, BBQ, and patio were a special treat. Very clean and well appointed apartment on a street of well kept brownstones. Subway is one block away and parking was ample on the street. Will stay at Jacqueline's place again as it is quiet but close enough to Manhattan for a short train ride. Greenwood cemetery is within walking distance as is sunset park and prospect park (long walk but doable). We weren't used to so much litter on the sidewalks but perhaps this is normal in a big city? It's a shame as Brooklyn is great. We will stay at Jacqueline's place the next time we come to town. She's one of the best hosts we have met. I now consider her a friend.

What a wonderful place to stay in Brooklyn. The apartment was well appointed, clean , and well stocked with all the amenities needed to feel right at home. The access to the garden and the thoughtful accents to provide us with a warm welcome made this rental extra special. Close to both bus line to shops and restaurants of Park Slope as well as the subway station to Manhattan. We will certainly return!

The hosts were very nice and accommodating. The rental was spotless and the decor updated and relaxing. Parking was my biggest concern and that was never a problem. We found parking on the street every night! Area is super easy to navigate. Kitchen beautiful . Outdoor patio great !

A very nice place to explore New York

We stayed in the apartment with our two girls (12+2) and enjoyed it very much. Jacqueline, our host was very kind. Everything was as described. We were welcomed with a selection of fresh fruits. The property was clean and it is perfect for two but we managed to stay there with our two girls too. The subway is just around the corner and you get to Manhattan within 10min taking the express line. Overall we can recommend this property for everyone who wants to visit New York.

This was a great place to stay. The owners was very nice and they helped us in anything we needed. I came with my two kids and we had a great time. I will definitely come back here and recommend this place to anyone.

The apartment was clean and tidy. The owners waited for us and greeted us as if we were extended family. Extremely nice people and very helpful with their local knowledge. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wishing to stay in the Brooklyn area. I selfishly don't want to tell the world about this great apartment because I want it to be available the next time we want to visit NY again! With that being said the apartment was better than the description and even the pictures! The pictures were true to how the apartment looks but the attention to detail really shows how much great hospitality Jackie and Ana have! From the moment we arrived Ana greeted us with a smile and helped us settle in with great tips on places to eat/visit. There was a treat for us in the fridge (a plate with cheese, crackers and fruit) which was perfect because we were starving! The kitchen has every tool imaginable and then some! There are spices and some dry ingredients like oatmeal and coffee to use also. Everything was very clean! No carpet and the tile floors were heated which is a nice touch. The apartment is within a very short walk to a some local eats, sunset park and the subway. We highly recommend staying here! Can't wait to go back!!

My husband and I spent a week of vacation in the New York area and stayed in this wonderful apartment in Brooklyn. The beautiful pictures show it exactly as well kept and clean as it is in real life. We loved the space! The private garden was an excellent and completely private area for our morning coffee time. The subway station is a short walk to the next block. Travelling around New York was so convenient from this Brooklyn location. When we come back to NY we will definitely stay here again!! We come from a small town in southern Manitoba, Canada but had no trouble adjusting to this "small town" neighbourhood in Brooklyn. Our hosts were fabulous! Our visits with them were so pleasant and fun! We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and comfortable "home away from home". I miss it already!

The apartment is very close to the subway to get anywhere in Brooklyn or Manhattan. It is very clean, spacious and super comfortable. The weather was great so we were able to enjoy some wine in the beautiful garden. The area is quiet and private. There is even a washer and dryer which is a big plus. Jacqueline was such a gracious host and wanted to make sure we had all we needed. This was the best experience so far. Thanks Jacqueline!

We felt right at home with a nice kitchen, washer and dryer, comfortable furniture and bed, all very clean and well-maintained. Also very close to the subway station with easy access to about anywhere in New York City, even Coney Island. I'm already booking a stay for next year. We also enjoyed meeting Jacqueline and Ana.

beautiful place to stay at. very spacious, has a TV and cable, washer and dryer. and there is a beautiful garden out back. there is a kitchen stocked with appliances and dishes and even some spices and oatmeal and random food. jackie is really amazing, my husband and I were on our honeymoon and she had cake and a bottle of wine waiting for us. she was really knowledgeable about where to go and what to see and very helpful with any questions we had. the subway is on the next block and takes 15 minutes to get to Manhattan! this place is worth it! it's in a great location, it's quiet and the neighborhood is great. way better then a hotel and you get a lot more for your money here. We plan on coming back to New York and this is where I will stay every time! thank you so much jackie , you're amazing and you made our stay in New York so much better!!!!

My husband and I had plans to attend the US Open this year and wanted to stay somewhere very comfortable. Somewhere that felt like home. Upon selecting this location, I reached out to Jackie and she was more than happy to assist me with any questions. She greeted us when we arrived and showed us all the ins and outs of the unit. This place is truly a lovely spot. Great location. We have plans on staying again when we come back to NYC. To top it off Jackie is one of the sweetest person we met in NYC.

Had a wonderful, relaxed, worry free stay. Incredibly friendly hosts, absolutely perfect flat - very clean, very well appointed. Easy to come and go, cook or just relax in my own space. The garden out back was a wonderful extra. The street is the nicest in the whole suburb, and really easy getting to the train. Very easy direct access to Manhattan AND airport line connections. Had a very happy stay. Thank you :-)

Absolutely loved staying here, it was the perfect place to stay, not too crowded and loud like in the city, a nice place to just relax and rest and be in a slower paced place after a long day of moving around and visiting NYC. Great location, since it was super close to the Subway station (2-3 blocks away) and not too far away from a grocery store, which was great. Would really recommend anyone who's looking into staying near New York for a bit to check this place out! We didn't really hang out at any of the local places, but we did go out to eat in Little Italy, Time Square, and Chelsea market (which I would recommend checking out if you've never been). We loved checking out the high line, an old abandoned railroad track on the West Side of NYC, that they turned into a park and walkway that overlooks the water and city. And if you're staying here on the weekend I would recommend checking out smorgasburg, a foodies dream come true.

My best friend and I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely apartment for 4 nights. It was spacious, clean, and above all comfortable. Everything we could have wanted or needed was accounted for. The kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need to make a quick snack or an elaborate meal. The couch and bed were very comfy. There is a full washer & dryer inside the apartment. The bathroom is big enough for two women to apply make-up & get ready. Not always the case in NY! It's conveniently located near the subway with trains directly into Manhattan. The neighborhood is safe and we had no issues walking to and from the train. There were a couple of nights where we emerged from the subway past midnight, and everything was peachy. Not to mention the fact that Jackie & Ana are two of the warmest, kindest people you could ever hope to meet. They made sure we were comfortable and offered advice on which trains to take and where to dine nearby. They truly take the time to make sure their guests are happy and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

A very comfortable, secure studio apartment with great kitchen and dining area, relaxing garden, bathroom, laundry, air-con and fast Wi-Fi, in a friendly street only minutes from 36th Street subway and quick connection to Manhattan. The owners couldn't be nicer or do enough to make us comfortable and the groovy Green Fig Café around the corner on 37 Street serves the best coffee and bakery in NY. Lots of other food choices around all corners and nearby nice park with a view of NY harbor. Half-tix for Broadway shows also available close by at Metro Tech and Park Slope bars and restaurants are a bus ride away

We stayed here for 13 nights and it far exceeded our expectations. The welcome with the fruit was truely heartwarming. The studio was very clean and well-maintained. The garden looked beautiful and we enjoyed it a lot. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. The property was very close to the subway station so it was easy to get around. We feel we made some new friends and we are looking to staying here again sometime next year.

This is our second stay with Jacqueline and we enjoyed it even more this time. Now that we are familiar with the area , her place feels like home and getting around Brooklyn and to the subway is a breeze. We visited Brooklyn Botanic Garden (just 2 stops away) and IKEA and had a wonderful time. Thanks for a memorable vacation once again!

My husband and I just returned from a weeklong vacation in New York. This was his surprise gift for his 50th birthday. He is originally from Brooklyn, so I wanted an authentic experience for him. This was also the first time I had ever used VRBO...so I was a little nervous. When we arrived, we were greeted by Anna. She was so gracious and so much fun to talk to! She made us feel right at home. We immediatly felt comfortable in the apartment. It was evident that they thought of every detail. Everything was clean and all applicances in working order. The decor was beautiful and a perfect spot for a special occasion. We also appreciated that the subway was so close by! We only traveled by subway or bus...living like the locals do! After meeting with Jacqueline, we were impressed by her energy and enthusiasm. She too was wonderful to talk to and shared helpful ideas for our trip! We had so much fun that we are already talking about when we can go back!! I would highly recommend staying here for an amazing New York experience! thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to NYC, by staying in this Brooklyn gem! bed and couch comfortable and pictures exactly represent the apt. Also enjoyed sitting out in the back garden area after long days of sight-seeing. Everything was clean and really appreciated the tips from Jackie and Anna, as well as the welcome fruit and cheese tray. VERY convenient to subway and 15 min trip into Manhattan. Recommend if not subway savvy, to carefully look over the maps and develop understanding of express vs local trains. We got sidetracked a couple times not realizing this difference. Key Foods just 1/4 mile away very convenient for simple groceries, which were easy to prepare in the well appointed kitchen. Highly recommend exploring Brooklyn. Sunset park 1/4 mile away with lovely view of sunset, Manhattan and lady Liberty. Check out Brooklyn promenade for amazing Manhattan views, as well as eating at Grimaldi's pizza and the ice cream shop just down from there. We also enjoyed the Brooklyn Botanical gardens, which is free on Tuesday, and Prospect Park. Check out Greenwood Cemetery for peaceful walking and viewing and be sure to pick up bagels and sweets from Baked in Brooklyn across the street. Coney Island is also a fun choice to walk the boardwalk, enjoy a Nathans hot dog and explore the Atlantic coast. This choice for a NYC stay is convenient to Manhattan, yet opens your eyes to the sights and sounds of Brooklyn and other areas of NYC

I had the most amazing experience staying here. Jackie was just wonderful she greeted us graciously (we had missed our flight and got there a little late) she gave us a tour of the place explained in detail where everything was and the best part was a surprise little cake for my birthday was waiting for me in the fridge with a lovely card. I couldn't have asked for more. She was wonderful and the place was super clean and comfortable. The subway was about 1 block away and everything was conveniently located. This property was beautiful, clean, safe, and comfortable! We were two women with two teenage girls and had no trouble traveling back and forth to Manhattan for shopping and shows. Subway stop is just around the corner about a three minute walk. Owners live upstairs and are friendly and helpful- they left a welcome snack and even offered to pick us up in Manhattan if we ever had an emergency. In a nutshell, we loved our stay!

Everything about our stay here was special. Jacqueline arranged for flowers, decorations and a anniversary cake to be be setup before my wife and I arrived. It was a wonderful surprise for my wife. The apartment is beautiful and very comfortable. The kitchen is filled with all kinds of pans and utensils and dishes. The bed and couch are very comfortable. And the Internet speed is a blazing fast 50 Mbps. I highly recommend this apartment.

This is a wonderful place to stay! Everything is as pictured and it is just a short walk to the subway which is one block away and several places to eat a quick meal also within walking distance. The garden studio is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is very well equipped. We loved our private garden. Nice to come back from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan and chill out in the garden. The subway station is close by and the 2 express lines whisked us to Manhattan very quickly. Brooklyn is interesting too and we enjoyed spending time there. Jacqueline is a charming and knowledgeable host. We would like to come back.

We were so delighted upon arrival to see that the property and location were exactly what we were looking for. We were warmly welcomed and all of our Brooklyn/NYC questions answered! We felt that every detail had been thoughtfully looked after right down to umbrellas outside the door and water in the fridge. The apartment provides a lot of space and is very restful. The neighborhood was lovely and we felt at home! The nearby subway station has an express train which made heading into Manhattan quick & easy. We will definitely stay here again! We've travelled to NYC at other times and this is by far our favorite stay with all the comforts of home! We found Jacqueline & Anna to be so warm and helpful and even arranged our transportation to the airport on our last day! They went above and beyond!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!!

Wow what a vacation! When I found this rental as I was searching for a place to stay in NY I was impressed with the reviews. Therefore I called the host Jacqueline to inquire about staying. After talking with her I knew we had found the perfect place. Jacqueline greeted us upon our arrival with her knowledge of things to do and places to eat and a beautiful fruit platter. The subway was a block and a half away. She was always a phone call away with any need that we might have and that was very reassuring for my family and myself being our first time to NYC. Where do I begin? Our stay at Jacqueline's was amazing. The apartment was clean at our arrival, is well equipped, suits easily 4 persons and is well located. Jacqueline supplies a good amount of starter supplies and linens and towels. Not only was her apartment great, so was the neighborhood. This place is exactly like the pictures! Jacqueline and her family were very nice and easy to get along with, and she accommodated our every need. Beautiful patio to sit and relax after a long day. There were many stores within walking distance to pick up just about whatever you would need. The subway was about a 5-10min walk. Always felt very safe.....would definitely stay here again when in New York City. I would recommend this property to my family and friends. I can't think of anything this apartment is missing but Doug would have liked a reading lamp. It is so spacious and modern, we looked forward to returning after a long day in the city. It offers a large bathroom which you don't always find with Apt. rentals. Very clean and comfortable! Jacqueline was great with her accommodations and providing us with helpful information on how to get around. We chose to use the subway instead of renting a car which worked out perfectly.

Jacqueline was a very gracious host. She welcomed us, provided us with a welcoming treat and gave us advice on restaurants and shopping. The garden area, BBQ, and patio were a special treat. Very clean and well appointed apartment on a street of well kept brownstones. Subway is one block away and parking was ample on the street. Will stay at Jacqueline's place again as it is quiet but close enough to Manhattan for a short train ride. Greenwood cemetery is within walking distance as is sunset park and prospect park (long walk but doable). We weren't used to so much litter on the sidewalks but perhaps this is normal in a big city? It's a shame as Brooklyn is great. We will stay at Jacqueline's place the next time we come to town. She's one of the best hosts we have met. I now consider her a friend.

What a wonderful place to stay in Brooklyn. The apartment was well appointed, clean , and well stocked with all the amenities needed to feel right at home. We stayed in the apartment with our two girls (12+2) and enjoyed it very much. Jacqueline, our host was very kind. Everything was as described. We were welcomed with a selection of fresh fruits. The property was clean and it is perfect for two but we managed to stay there with our two girls too. The subway is just around the corner and you get to Manhattan within 10min taking the express line. Overall we can recommend this property for everyone who wants to visit New York.
